Our research objects are to expand the knowledge of oriental medicine based on oriental medicinal materials and to develop functional materials by using new biotechnology from medicinal herbs. Therefore, we search for natural materials that are related to hair and skin cell rebirth. Moreover, we conduct research on artificial skin and optimization of medicine transmission system through in vitro and in vivo pathway studies. The final goal of this research is the creation of products for clinical application.

-Mechanism study on the prevention of alopecia and treatment efficacy of medicinal herbs
-Research on cell rebirth function from natural substances
-Research on optimization of medicine transmission system
-Research on the effect of the natural substances for atopy dermatitis in vitro and in vivo
-Construction of a database of oriental medicine for external use and study of effective prescriptions in the treatment of allergic rhinitis in vitro
-Development of highly functional, anti-aging cosmetic material which has anti-aging and cell regeneration activities from natural plants and herbs
